Aquatics Specialist
The Aquatics Specialist assists the Aquatic Supervisor with overseeing the day to day planning, preparation, supervision, leadership and evaluation of all the district’s aquatic facilities and programs. The Aquatics Specialist assists in overseeing all aspects of the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center. The Aquatics Specialist is responsible for planning and carrying out swim lessons, swim team and party/rental programs. Furthermore, the Aquatics Specialist is responsible for creating and managing the budgets for their program areas.

Sports Officials
The Urbana Park District youth sports program provides an excellent training ground for anyone interested in officiating sports. All officials should be 16 years of age or older. Certified officials are encouraged to apply to assist in maintaining a high-quality program, and to help develop and train less experienced officials. The pay rate varies with the age of competition and sport. Applications are available at the Planning and Operations building, 901 N Broadway, Urbana. Call 217.344.9583 for more information.
