$1.75 boat ride with completed trivia quiz

The Urbana Park District and the City of Urbana invite the public to an event honoring the 175th Birthday of the City of Urbana.

Join us near the Lake House at 3:00 pm for a photo recreating the Old Settlers’ Reunion Photo taken in the Crystal Lake Park area in 1883. Period costumes are encouraged, but not required.

The public can also celebrate Urbana's 175th year with a $1.75 boat ride at Crystal Lake Park! Come to the Lake House at Crystal Lake Park and pick up our Urbana Trivia Hunt. Answer trivia questions, find special clues in the park, and you'll earn a $1.75 ride on a canoe or paddleboat on Crystal Lake. The 30-minute rides will be available to all who complete the Urbana Trivia Hunt and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Each boat must have one rider who is at least 16 years old, but the contest is open to people of all ages. Valid Photo ID is required as a deposit to take a boat out on Crystal Lake. The Trivia Hunt will go rain or shine, so dress for the weather. See you at the park!
