Activities: Budding artists focus on the visual and performing arts: painting, sketching, collage, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, and playwriting to name just a few. Each camper will learn new art terms and techniques and will gain valuable friendships at the same time! Drop off begins at 7:30am with official activities beginning at approximately 8:30-9am. Be sure to dress for mess. Campers will ride MTD buses for field trips, have open play time at the Phillips Recreation Center playground and swim up to twice a week at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center. Bring a lunch, morning snack and drink daily. Each camper receives an Arts Camp T-shirt. Session theme is eco-friendly art. Camp does not meet on July 4.
