Daily dawn until dusk

Crystal Lake Park is located off Broadway Avenue, just north of University Avenue. Its 90.4 acres include: Crystal Lake, pavilions, a water feature and 59 acres called Busey Woods. Crystal Lake Park is Urbana's oldest park, created in 1907.

The Saline Branch runs through Busey Woods and Crystal Lake Park. It was dammed in the late 1800s to create the original Crystal Lake.

This park is home to many special events, summer camp programs and more. Boat rentals are available in summer and fishing is a popular activity whenever weather permits.

An accessible fishing pier, funded in part with a grant from teh Kellogg Foundation, is located at the lower parking lot near the bridge.
